Anna-Mariia Kostiuk hands over «Sonja und die Mondfee» to the Stadtbücherei Leonberg

On 5 February 2026, the Leonberg-based author Anna-Mariia Kostiuk personally handed over two copies of her book «Sonja und die Mondfee» as a gift to the Stadtbücherei Leonberg, the town library.

The children’s book tells the story of a little girl who finds tiny wings and sets off on a magical journey to the moon — in search of her vanished Aunt Maja. The lovingly drawn illustrations are by Vitalii Kostiuk.

“It mattered to me that the children of Leonberg could read this book,” says Anna-Mariia Kostiuk. “The town library is a place where stories come to life — and I’m glad I was able to give the library a few copies.”

The handover took place in a warm, friendly atmosphere. The library staff were happy to receive the books.
